Eventful days here the last two days ... hot and humid, (not so good) but Jason and Steven made friends with the dump truck/backhoe guys who are clearing the land for the White Ranch folks who are planning to plant Teak Tree forest at the edge of the village ... the guys, between yesterday dumping onto our truck gave 5 loads of fill dirt and sand for the yard, and today, 4 dump truck loads, (which the guys need to load onto the truck and back down the drive with) of good clay dirt to fill the low spots down by the lagoon ... all that for four Myrtle made lunches and a few cokes yesterday.  They will apparently bring more on Monday or so next week ... what a Goddess send for Jay.

I bought Myrtle a hand grinder for the coconut for milk and oil instead of hand grating it ... (works well) and she has been spoiling me with fresh coconut creamy milk for my cereal ... i get it in the states, because I have a dairy allergy, but nothing so creamy and fresh as this!  Gosh, will I really miss that!

Started yesterday to paint the deck in the back by the shower with Azuel Intencio ~ aka bright blue.  It will need a second coat, but will look nice.  Today Jason and I lined the shower with wild caning in between the pimento logs to fill the 'chinks'  ... I nail gunned with brads and J stripped and macheted the cane.  "Sweet wall" ... pun intended, considering the cane is sticky from the sugar coming out of it.

So, Jay got a hold of my camera and went shooting ... will include some of his shots with narration below and then close out for the day.
