So, here we are @ 72 degrees with a hi of 84 predicted ... it rained all night (and this is supposedly the dry season!) ... Lompoc and Pflugerville are @ 36, Isanti is 16 and Bloomfield is 1!  Boy am I glad, yet again, that I am here watching a sweet yellow bird out the window eating the coconut blossoms (kinda set up like those millet sticks they sell for parakeets)   For those of you who are unaware, Lompoc and Pflugerville are Cali and TX respectively where Jes and Heather are, Isanti is in MN where Sam and her family are and ... well Bloomfield is NM where our other home is and where Winna is holding down the fort.

Well, gotta make this quick till the 'current' as they call it here, comes back on and I can plug in ... my laptop just warned we that it is low on power and plans to shut down soon.  The power went out last night due to the wind (we think) ... it is just temporary wiring for now and thus susceptible to the whims of weather
